Update Services
Once we have prepared your Will, we shall be pleased to provide updates in future, to match your changing requirements.
Typical updates include:-
Adding or removing Executors
Changing nominated Trustees
Adding or removing Guardians
Adding additional children
Adding benefits for grandchildren
Revising addresses
Adding specific gifts
Revising or adding Trust provisions
Updates can be accomplished by adding a codicil, but, we normally recommend that completely new Wills are prepared. This is safer, since a codicil could become detached, or mislaid, meaning the revisions would not be recognised.
If you have decided to include an update service with us, revision of the original Will provisions can be made and we will prepare a new Will without further charge.
The introduction of new provisions, such as trusts, may incur an additional charge.
If you have not decided to include an update service we shall be happy to prepare a revised Will for a reduced charge, which is normally 50% less than a new Will. Or, without additional charge if an update service is added at the same time.
